The coincidence is that our wives had been classmates at Lawnswood High School in Leeds and, though John and me had not been classmates ourselves we were both at FPGS.  But we met our future wives independently, enjoying the surprise when re-introduced by the girls in our engagement years.  Though not related we have remained good and close friends ever since and shared highs and lows in our families.
